Keeping hair dye off your skin

When you dye your hair, you can also end up with dyed skin around your scalp. To keep this from happening, before you apply your hair dye, put a thin coat of Vaseline on your skin around your hair line and on your ears. When you are done dying, you can wipe the Vaseline off and your skin won't be colored the same as your hair.
