Cleaning vase bottoms

Vases can be hard to clean since many of them have narrow tops that prevent you from getting your hand or much else into the vase to clean it. To clean the crud that builds up in the bottom of a vase, file the vase with water and drop in 4 Alka Seltzer tablets. Let it sit for an hour or so. Pour out the water, rinse with fresh water, and your vase should be clean
