Disable error reporting in Windows
When a program crashes in Windows [as if such a thing could happen :)], you usually get a message window asking you if it's okay to send a crash report off to some unknown place. If you don't like sending these crash reports, this is just yet another annoyance during an already trying time since your application just crashed. Windows allows you to turn off this reporting so that they don't ask you about this. To set it up this way, go to the "Control Panel" and select the "System" panel. Once open, select the "Advanced" tab. Depending on your version of Windows, you may need to push a button labeled "Error Reporting." If you see that button, push it. Either way, you should then be at a point where there is a radio button you can click on to disable error reporting. Select that and you'll no longer get messages about this once you, somehow, manage to crash an application.
