Move, not copy, a file by dragging it
Usually when you copy a file by dragging it, a copy is performed. The original file is untouched and you create a new version of the file in the destination that you dragged to. But what if you want to move instead of copy? If you hold down the Command key during this process, it will remove the original file after creating the new version - resulting in a move and not a copy.
