Buying a high-def LCD TV
If you are considering buying a new high definition LCD TV, make sure you get one of the newer models that operates at 120 Hz refresh rate. Most models of LCD TVs operate at lower refresh rates and this tends to lead to a blurry sensation when watching sports, action movies, or other things where there is a lot of sudden motion. With the newer sets that operate at 120 Hz, the picture updates much quicker and the result is much better picture quality when there is lots of motion. In another two years, every LCD TV will be operating at least 120 Hz, you don't want to be stuck with a set that doesn't show good motion, so spend the extra money now and you'll be set for years to come.
