I bought a couple earthbox about 4 years ago an have been extremely happy growing tomatoes & cucumber. I have plenty of space for a garden but I have deer every where & my dirt is decomposing granite because I live in the mountains. As a solution, I bought the earthbox & my cucumbers are ready earlier than the local gardeners who live in town. I start my plant inside & then move them out to my fenced in patio. Just make sure you don't let the water reservoir dry out. Also, I make a little trellis for the cucumbers. Two sticks with cheap wire in-between.
