Automatic login in Windows Vista

If you are using Vista at home or some place else where you want your computer to automatically login when you turn it on, here's what you need to do so that this happens.

1. Go to the Start menu, type netplwiz and then hit Enter. If you have UAC, you'll need to confirm that you *really* want to do this.

2. Select the Users tab and look down for the checkbox that is labeled Users must enter a name and password to use this computer. Uncheck this box.

3. When you uncheck the box, you'll get a prompt that asks for the name and password of the user to be automatically logged in. Enter that information and push a couple of OK buttons and you'll be set to automatically login next time you start your Vista computer.
