Share web 2.0 invites
It seems the latest, possibly most annoying, trend in web 2.0 sites is the invite. It started with GMail. Since then to be a "cool" web 2.0 site it seems that you have to be in perpetual beta, and you need to have a process of inviting your users. While I don't care if a site claims to be in beta or not, the invite thing is really annoying. When I hear about a new site, I want to try it out. I don't want to fill out a form and wait. Usually by the time I am "accepted", I've completely forgotten about the site in question and I don't really care to try it out any more.
If you want to skip the invite process that some sites are using, or you want to get rid of some invites that you aren't planning on using, check out Invite Share. You go there, look for the site you are interested in, and pick up an unused invitation so that you don't have to wait. Likewise, if you just got an invite to a site and you don't even want it anymore, you can put your invite up to help out some poor soul who is looking to get on without waiting.
