Making cake frosting go further
If you are frosting a cake with store-bought frosting from a can, try putting the frosting into a bowl and whipping it with your beaters. If you do this, you'll find that you can easily double the amount of frosting you have. And since the frosting is now less dense, it's less sugar on each piece of cake so it's not as bad for you. Cheaper and healthier cake.
