Change the look of your Dock in Leopard

Leoparddocks.com has a large repository of alternative Dock styles you can use in Leopard. To replace your current Dock look with a new look, here's what you need to do.

- Download one of the Dock styles from the site. These will be in a zip file and you'll need to unzip them.

- Open a Finder window and go to folder: Macintosh HD -> System -> Library -> Core Services

- Right-Click on "Dock" and select "Show Package Contents"

- This will open a new Finder window. In that window, go to the folder: Contents -> Resources

- Backup the files you are about to replace (look in the download directory to see what files are going to be replace).

- Move the downloaded files into this folder.

- Open a terminal window (Application -> Utilities -> Terminal) and type killall Dock and hit Enter.

Once you do this, you can enjoy the customized Dock of your choice.
