Watching full-screen video in quicktime
If you are watching a video in quicktime, here are some easy ways to get into the full-screen mode. Command + 3 will show the video in full-screen mode with the video fit to the screen while maintaining the aspect ratio, Command + 4 will completely fill the screen which does not maintain the aspect ratio, and Command + 5 will show the video in full-screen letterbox format.
