Getting flowers to stand up in a vase

Unless you have a lot of flowers in a vase, they don't look good if they are not standing upright in the vase. If you have a vase with a wide mouth, this can be hard to achieve, but here are two things you can do to make flowers stand more upright in your vase. First, try putting marbles, either clear or colored for a nice accent, in the bottom of the vase and push the stems into the marbles so that the marbles support the stems and help the flowers stand upright. Second, you can put Saran or cling wrap over the mouth of the vase and poke the stems in through the film. This will help support the stems higher up and make it easier to stand the flowers upright.
