Get rid of Private Browsing confirmations in Safari
In Safari, when you choose "Private Browsing..." you have to confirm that you *really* meant to select Private Browsing. If you use this option often, this confirmation step gets really annoying. Happily, there is a solution that will allow you to get Private Browsing and to skip the confirmation step.
To start, go to System Preferences, select Keyboard & Mouse, and then select the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. Click the "+" icon under the list of the list of shortcuts. For the Application entry, select Safari. For the Menu Title, enter Private Browsing. And then for the Keyboard Shortcut, enter a keyboard sequence (I entered Shift + Control + P)... don't worry too much about the keyboard sequence, you don't actually have to use it to use the command. Here's what my form looked like when I did this:

Click the Add button and close System Preferences. If Safari is currently open, close it. Next time you open Safari, you'll have an additional option in the Safari menu as seen here:
The updated safari menu
You can then choose the second Private Browsing option in the menu and you'll get private browsing in Safari without having to confirm that this is what you *really* want.
