Sewing buttons on correctly

When sewing buttons, most people sew them on too tightly. To get buttons sewn on correctly, lay a needle across the top of the button, between the thread holes, before sewing it on and then sew the button on so that the thread goes over this needle. Once you are done sewing, remove the needle that you sewed over and the button will have now be sewn on at the correct tightness.
