If you've ever used eVite to send out invitations to a party, you probably liked the fact that it makes it easy to send out invitations, and to keep track of who's coming. Oh yeah, and it's free. But aside from that eVite is pretty lame. The invitation emails contain almost zero information so that people need to go to their site to even know what they are invited to. The RSVP process is lame. They provide almost no integration to your calendar. And the site is not much to look at; the design is cluttered, and there are tons of totally irrelevant ads.

It sends out useful invitations, it works well with calendars, and it's not design to look like a carnival ride. All that and it's free too.
