Adding programs to the Start menu in XP
If there are programs that you use often you may want to consideer adding them directly to the Start menu. To do this, open a Windows Explorer window and navigate to the program that you want to add to the Start menu. Right click on the program and select "Pin to Start Menu". Once you do this, the program will then be shown in the Start menu abouve the separator line. If you want to remove this program or any other program from the Start menu, open the Start menu and right click on the program you want to remove and select "Unpin from Start Menu" from the menu that is shown.
