Keeping pie crust edges from burning

To keep the edges of your pie crust from burning, cover them with aluminum foil after the crust has been baking for 15 minutes. To do this, take a sheet of aluminum foil and cut out a hole that matches the size of the pie. Use the pie to get the right size and do this before you start baking the pie. Then when it is time to put the foil on, you can just place it on your already baking pie, center the hole over the pie and pull the remaining foil down along the edges of the pie pan. If you do this, you'll get perfect edges to your pie crust every time.
