Create a quick disposable web page quickly
If you ever need a quick web page for something that is near-term, there's a new service that allows you to do this for free. It's called disposableWebPage.com. Using their free service, you can create your own web page and set the lifetime of the page to be anywhere from 0 - 90 days long. Once your page is created, they give you a nice wiki-style editor for creating the content on your page. Your page then stays up for the alloted lifetime of the page with a link that remains available for the life of the page. You can link your friends, colleagues, or others to the page.
It seems like something like this would be cool for creating pages on upcoming events that you have going on: parties, fund raisers, etc. You can point people to the page without having to have your own web domain and once the event is over the page goes away.
