Burn More Calories
Standing up burns more calories than sitting. Stand up while watching TV, reading or talking on the phone. Make a concerted effort to add a bit of movement. If you're really ambitious, do some jumping jacks, run in place, or some Tae-Bo kicks during the commercial breaks. Doing quick bursts of movement for a minute or two will not just burn a few extra calories, but will raise your metabolism for a little while and get your blood flowing!
