Cleaning fruit stains on carpet
The key to removing fruit stains is to get them before they dry and set into the carpet. Act quickly! Scrape up as much spilled fruit as you can, and absorb juice of the fruit by blotting it with paper towels. For the remaining stain, mix 1 teaspoon of mild detergent with 1 teaspoon white vinegar and 1 quart of warm water. Apply this solution to the remaining fruit stain and let the carpet dry. Once the mixture is dry, vacuum gently. You may have to repeat this process several times, but it should eventually get rid of the fruit stain in the carpet.
