Taking screen shots in Vista
If you have the Home Premium Edition of Vista or a better, there is an easy way to take screen shots by making use of the Snipping Tool (original intended for you on the tablet PC). To finding the snipping tool in Vista, do a search for the phrase snip, this will bring up the snipping tool. You can right-click on the result to add the snipping tool to your Qucik Launch bar, or to add it to your Start Menu.
Once you start the snipping tool, select the drop-down arrow next to "New" to select what sort of screen shot you want to perform. You can select a free-form section (you use the mouse to trace out an area to grab a screen shot of), a rectangular screen shot, an entire window, or an entire screen. Using this tool is by far the easiest way to create screen shots in Vista.
