Make clear ice cubes

If the ice that you make always ends up looking cloudy and white, try boiling the water before you make ice cubes. Boiling the water allows the undissolved oxygen in the water to be released and it also helps to remove minerals from the water. The result is water that is "just" water and when you freeze it, it will be nice and clear.
