Monitor Facebook from your Mac

If you are Facebook addict and a Mac user, you should be using FMenu. Fmenu is an application that sits in your menu bar and keeps you up to date on all your latest happening in Facebook. It allows you to monitor what's happening in Facebook without having to actually go to the site.

Using FMenu in the menu menu bar, you can easily access Facebook pages and keep track of new messages, pokes, events, friend requests, wall posts, and photo comments. It also features a really nice Quicklaunch box that allows you to get to your friends' profiles quickly... you start typing a friends name and it will autocomplete their name, you then press enter and go directly to that friends profile. You can also use the Quicklaunch feature to make Facebook searches right from your Mac.

You can customize the notifications so that you can get notified about the following events in Facebook:

- A friend updated their profile
- A friend changes their status
- A friend writes a new note
- Someone write on your wall
- You get new messages
- You have new pokes
- You have new friend requests
- You have new photo comments

Fmenu is free and easy to set up. If you are using a Mac-using Facebook user, you really should check it out.
