Cleaning a plasma screen TV

Here are some tips for cleaning your plasma screen TV screen.

1) Always use a cotton cloth such as an old T-shirt on the screen. Do not use paper towel, or any sort of wool cloth on you plasma TV screen. Many plasma TV screens have special coating and using anything other than cotton on the screen may scratch or harm the coating on your plasma TV.

2) Do not use any sort of cleaner on the screen of your plasma TV. Most cleaners, such as Windex, contain ammonia and other harsh chemicals and these will most definitely harm the coating on your plasma screen. Only small amounts of water on your screen for cleaning.

3) The safest way to clean the screen of your plasma TV is to dampen a cotton cloth and to rub the screen gently. This isn't the easiest way to get the screen clean, but it will maintain the integrity of your screen coating and result in the longest life time.
