Flouring cake pans

Most people use butter and flour to coat their cake pans to keep the cake from sticking to the pan. The only problem with this is that the flour can sometime affect the taste on the edge of the cake. To keep this from happening, keep a little bit of your dry cake mix ingredients to the side when you are making your batter and then use this dry cake mixture instead of flour when you are coating the pan. It'll make the sides of your cake taste better!
