If you get oil stains in your driveway or on your garage floor, you can clean it up easily using kitty litter. Just sprinkle a generous amount of kitty litter on to the oil stain and let it sit for 15 minutes or so. After 15 minutes, use a broom (not one that you'd want to use on the floors of your house) or a brush to push the kitty litter into the oil stain. Then sweep up the kitty litter which should be pretty oily by now. This won't completely remove an oil stain, but it will clean it up so that there is no excess oil that then gets tracked into your house or garage.
