Free Microsoft Project
Well... not quite. But you can get a free Microsoft Project alternative called OpenProj from http://www.serena.com/products/openproj/.
OpenProj does all of the same stuff as Microsoft Project; Gantt charts, PERT charts, networks charts. And it can read MS Project files. Best of all it's free *and* it runs on multiple platforms (Mac, Linux, Windows). So if you're looking for project management software and you aren't using Windows, or you don't want to fork out $1000, give OpenProj a look.
