List HTML character entities

HTML character entities are character sequences that are recognized by HTML/XHTML and are translated into special characters. Probably one of the most used HTML character entities is &nbsp; which is convert into a non-breaking space. Other well known character entities are &lt; (<), &gt; (>), &amp; (&) and &quot; (")... but there are a *lot* of other character entities available in HTML. There are HTML character entities for the entire Greek alphabet, fractional values, mathematical symbols, currencies and all sorts of other characters that are used in foreign languages. This site (http://www.html.su/entities.html) contains a complete list of the HTML character entities that are available.
