slow websites in Vista

If you are using Vista, you may have noticed that some web sites load really slowly in Vista while loading fine in XP. If this sounds like you, here's something you can try to speed up your web browsing in Vista.

1: Go to Start and enter cmd in the Search menu, but don't press Enter, instead press Ctrl + Shift + Enter to open the command prompt as an administrator.

2: On the command line, type netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=highlyrestricted.

This should help speed up websites that are slow in Vista but load fine in XP.

Thanks, but what if you want to resort back to your original settings? What then would that command prompt be?
