Uses for nonslip shelf linersNonslip shelf liners can be used for a lot more than just lining shelves. Here are some of the things that we use it for around our house.
- Keeping our table cloth from slipping on the table. Just put a roll of the nonslip shelf liner down the middle of the table and the increased grip will keep your table cloth from sliding around every time one of your kids touches the edge of the table cloth. - We keep a 6" x 6" piece in the kitchen to put under the cutting board when we are chopping. This keeps the cutting board from moving around on the counter top. - We use this same piece of nonslip shelf liner when we need some extra grip when trying to open a jar. - We put it under our kids car seats. The nonslip keeps the car seat secure on our slippery leather seats and it also protects the seats from all of the stuff that the kids inevitably drop on the seat. - We used double-sided tape to stick some of the nonslip shelf liner on to the feet of our coffee table. Before, when you'd put your feet up on the table, the table would slide around on the wooden floors. But with the nonslip shelf liners on the bottom of the table feet, the table stays put when you put your feet up on it.
