Freezing bagels
If you find yourself with a abundance of bagels, you can freeze them and they will keep for months. But if you thaw them out, they tend to get soggy and not taste very well. The best way to use a frozen bagel is to toast it. To make toasting the bagel easier, make sure that you cut the bagels before you freeze them since cutting a frozen bagel is nearly impossible.
