Unsticking the iPhone slider

If the slider on your iPhone ever gets stuck when you are trying to wake up your iPhone, one trick you can try is this. Leave the iPhone alone for 30 seconds or so, then push the Home button, then try using the slider. This has happened to me twice now when trying to wake up my iPhone and this has fixed the problem both times.
