Removing Sticker Glue Residue
1) Coat the sticker with oil (vegetable oil, cooking spray, motor oil, it doesn't matter). 2) Let the oil soak in for a few hours. 3) Test readiness for removal by scraping the residue with your finger nail. When you can easily scrape the sticker off with your finger nail, it's ready. 4) Wash the item with hot, soapy water and scrub off the sticker residue (green pads work well. To avoid scratches DO NOT use steel wool or metal scrubbers). If done properly there will no marks or scratches.
