HTML tagging - don't bet on it

If you are still relying on HTML tagging to help your search engine rankings, think again. There is so little weight applied to these techniques today that you almost don't even have to bother.

The most important HTML tags are the Title Tags, H1, H2 Header Tags, and description tags.

Anchor text is your most important onpage SEO technique to employ on your website these days - not to mention good content and good internal linking structure.
