Ignore button not working in Snow Leopard spell checker
In Snow Leopard, the Ignore button in the spell checker does not seem to work in applications that use the built-in spell checker. There's a quick and easy fix to this.
When you see the spell check window, you'll see that the Automatic by Language option will be selected at the bottom of the window:
If you change this selection to your actual language, the Ignore button in the spell checker will start working again. Not sure why, but it does.
