uTorrent not running on Windows 7
If you are having problems getting uTorrent to run in Windows 7 here are some things you can try.
1: Right-click your shortcut for uTorrent, click Properties from the menu, select the Compatibility tab. In the Compatibility tab, check the box next to Run this program as an administrator. Also check the box next to "Run this program in compatibility mode for: and if Windows Vista is not selected as the compatibility mode, select it.
2. From the uTorrent app, select Preferences from the menu. In the preferences, open up the Advanced section (on the left) and then select the Disk Cache entry. Once Disk Cache is selected on the left, check the boxes next to Disable Windows caching of disk writes and Disable Windows caching of disk reads. Click 'OK to save your changes.
Hopefully these tricks will get uTorrent running for you again in Windows 7.
