The Garmin nuvifone has a camera on it that allows you to select the subject on which the camera will focus. While this feature allows you to take better pictures, it can be a little confusing if you don't know how it works. When you taking a picture press the Camera button lightly (they describe it as "halfway" in the manual). When you do this, a green box will appear on your phone. This shows you the area of focus, move or aim it as needed to get the focus how you want it. Once you are happy with the focus, then press the camera button all the way and it'll take a picture. You'll know the picture has been taken when you hear the camera shutter sound.
