Viewing the classic control panel in Windows 7
Lots of people prefer to use the "classic" version of the control panel in Windows 7. The classic version of the control panel is available in Windows 7, but it isn't directly labeled as such.
To change this setting, you need to get to the control panel (Start -> Control Panel). Once it's started, go to the section in the upper-right of the page that reads: View By: Category and click on the Category pull-down. You'll see two additional options: Large icons and Small icons. If you select either of these other options, you'll get the classic view of the control panel.
