Make your own fingerpaint

It's easy and cheap to make your own finger paint. Here are the ingredients you'll need:

- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups cold water

Combine all of the ingredients in a medium-sized sauce pan, mix them together well, and heat on low heat for 10 - 15 minutes. Stir often as the mixture is heating to keep it smooth. When the finger paint is done cooking, it should be think (paint-like) and smooth. Once it reaches this stage, take the pan off the stove and allow the finger paint to cool. Once the finger paint cools, divide it into separate seal-able containers, one for each color. Add a few drops of food coloring (it doesn't take much) and mix it into the paint.

That's it. It's quick, easy, and cheap to make your own finger paint.
