enabling GPS on a myTouch 3G

Wondering why the GPS is not working on your myTouch 3G?

The GPS eats up a lot of battery, so by default the GPS is not enabled on the myTocuh 3G. If you want to use the GPS, you first need to enable it. Here are the steps to do that...

From the Home screen, tap the Menu button and select Settings and then Security & Location.

If there is no check mark next to Enable GPS Satellites, tap Enable GPS Satellites to put a check mark there and enable the GPS.
