menu shortcuts on the myTouch 3G

On the myTouch 3G Android phone from T-Mobile, there are a lot of places where if you touch the screen and hold your touch there, you'll get extra menu options. T-Mobile refers to this as longTOuch It's kind of like right-clicking on your computer to get extra menu options.

Here are the places where you can get this to work:

Home screen
By tapping: Wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts, and folders

Menu key
Display keyboard on any screen (longTouch again to close)

Home key
View recently used apps

Send key
Open the Voice dialer

End key
Power on/off or place phone in silent or airplane mode

Music Player icon
Song name (sets song as ringtone; add song to playlist),
Artist name (search for artist using Amazon MP3, browser, or YouTube),

Camera icon
Picture (share, set as wallpaper, view as slideshow, and more)

Maps icon
Address (view driving directions and more)
