Run quick terminal commands on the Mac

If you keep the terminal application in your Dock, you can run quick commands on the command line without having to actually open up the terminal. Right-click on the Terminal application in the Dock and select the New Command... option. It'll pop open a dialog where you can enter a single command to be run.
