Put the date in the Snow Leopard menu bar

A hidden new feature in Snow Leopard for the Mac is the ability to show the date in the menu bar along with the time. You can enable this new feature by going to the System Settings app and selecting the Date & Time option.

Once this opens, select the Clock tab. It should look something like this:

Date options now available in Snow Leopard Date options now available in Snow Leopard

Once you check the Show date and time in menu bar box, you can choose from the two new options for showing the date which are: Show date and Show the day of the week.
