A new way to run Windows on a Mac
If you are looking to run Windows on the Mac without resorting to rebooting every time you want to do, your only option up to now has been Parallels. There's now a new option, and it comes from the folks at VMWare, the leaders in virtual machine software.
The new produce is called Fusion and it allows you to run Windows natively on the Mac. It seems to match the features in Parallels pretty well; you can run Windows applications alongside Mac applications and it supports 64-bit and multiple processors. It has a cool feature that allows you to snapshot your virtual machine so that you can roll back if you get any sort of corruption. It seems like the biggest draw is the price, you can get Fusion for only $39 which is quite a bit cheaper than Parallels. They also offer a free 30 day trial so that you can take it for a test drive before laying down any money.
