Notes showing up in Mail inbox on Snow Leopard

The first thing I noticed when I installed Snow Leopard is that now all of my notes show up in the Inbox of Mail. Yuck. Not even close to being something I want to have happen. It's not obvious how to turn off this behavior. But after a little digging I finally figured out how to get Notes to stop showing up in the Mail inbox.

1) From Mail, go to the menu bar and choose Mail -> Prefereces....

2) Click on the Accounts tab in the preferences panel.

3) Select your account and choose the Mailbox behaviors tab. It should look like this:

4) Uncheck the box next to Show notes in Inbox.

When you try to click away, you'll be asked if you want to save these changes, select Save to confirm that you do want to make this change.

If you have multiple mail accounts, you'll need to make this change for each account. It's a little annoying, but this will get the Notes out of your Mail inbox.
