Turn off the backlight timeout on a blackberry

For a lot of the newer Blackberry devices, like the Bold, Storm, or Tour you can turn off the backlight timeout so that the backlight stays on.

To enable this press the Menu button from the Home screen. Select Options and then select Screen/Keyboard. If you see an entry called Automatic Backlight you can toggle this value on/off so that the backlight stays on while your phone is in use. Once you make the change, press the Menu button again and select Save.
