Hidden test pattern on Sony Blu-Ray discs
If you are looking for a test pattern to use to adjust the picture of your HDTV, most (but not all) Sony Blu-Ray discs come with a test pattern hidden on them. Once you've inserted the Sony Blu-Ray disc into your player and you get the menu, type in 7669 (the numbers spell Sony) on the keypad. Once you do this, you will get the test pattern if there is one on the disc.
