Palm Plant

If your potted palm isn't doing well, there might be a few different reasons. First, it likes a lot of sunlight. Second, don't over water it. The soil should be nearly dry before you water. Third, check the soil. Regular potting soil isn't the best for this plant. It needs a generous amount of sand mixed in with the soil. You can also use organic clay cat litter. If the plant does well for a long time but then starts looking sick, it probably just needs a bigger pot. Loosen the roots a little when you transplant it so it doesn't look like one big knot.
