Speed up Aero effects in Windows 7

If your computer doesn't quite have the speed need to handle all of the cool Aero effects in Windows 7, like things move all choppy, one way to improve things is by removing the glass effect from Aero. This effect seems to cause the most speed problems. And if you get rid of it you can keep the rest of the cool Aero effects and they'll look a lot better as a result.

Here's what to do...

- Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize.

- Click on Windows Color.

- Uncheck the box next to Enable Transparency.

Save your changes and see if things are now faster.
