Start Chrome in incognito mode

Chrome has a great feature for browser privacy that they call incognito mode. The only problem with the incognito mode is that every time you start Chrome, you have to put it back into incognito mode. But if you're starting Chrome from a shortcut on your desktop, you can make a quick change to the shortcut so that Chrome will always start in incognito mode.

Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties.

When the Properties open, click on the Shortcut tab.

Go down to the Target field. You then edit it by adding a space to the existing target, and then adding --incognito after the existing target.

Click the Apply button to apply your changes. Now when you start Chrome using this shortcut it will start in incognito mode.

BTW, this is for Windows. Not sure how you'd do this on other platforms.
